Spinach and artichoke dip

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g spinach, frozen
  • 1 can artichoke hearts
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 100 g mozzarella, grated
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • some salt and pepper
  • possibly cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Thaw the spinach and squeeze out excess moisture. Drain the artichoke hearts and roughly chop them. Finely chop the garlic cloves. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic. Add the spinach and artichokes and mix well. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper, if desired. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until the dip is piping hot and lightly golden brown. Serve the spinach and artichoke dip hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or baguette.
