Spirulina Guacamole

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 avocados, nice, ripe
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tsp tamari sauce
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Spirulina microalgae powder (raw food quality)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

vegan, with raw spirulina powder

In a small bowl, mix the spirulina powder with the olive oil. Finely chop the shallot and press the garlic clove. Place in a bowl and pour over the lime juice, letting it sit for a while. The lime juice makes the shallot and garlic easier to digest. During this time, cut the avocados open, scoop out the flesh, place it in a bowl, and mash with a fork. Add the tamari sauce (to taste), paprika, and the spirulina/olive oil mixture. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Chill for 30 minutes, then enjoy with bread, tortilla chips, or vegetable sticks. Tip: For a less intense green color but more crunch, you can also use spirulina granules – just don’t soak them in oil. You can use hummus or sesame paste in addition to or instead of the avocado.
