Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 g baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 6 cl mineral water
  • 1 tsp marmalade (orange)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 minute; Total time approx. 11 minutes

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy, then add the egg. Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix well until smooth. Now it’s important to get the mixture to the point where it almost starts to flow. I achieved this with 6 cl of mineral water. Then pour the batter into an ISI Whip and add two to three gas cartridges. Shake well and pipe into a disposable plastic cup to a height of about 3 cm. Microwave the batter at 600 watts for about 25 seconds. Remove the sponge cake from the cup and serve with orange marmalade. Makes 6 servings.
