Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slice(s) onion(s), red
  • 4 slice(s) beefsteak tomato(s)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 12 slice(s) pickle(s)
  • 400 g shrimp(s)
  • 2 tbsp onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp celery
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp parsley
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Dijon mustard
  • ketchup
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Spongebob’s favorite burger

Sauté the chopped onion and chopped celery, then add the thyme and continue frying briefly until the onion is translucent. Mix the breadcrumbs with the parsley, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the shrimp or surimi and mix with the fried onion and celery mixture, one tablespoon of Dijon mustard, two tablespoons of mayonnaise, the seasoned breadcrumbs, the eggs, and a little salt and pepper. Form 4 patties. Fry the burger patties for 2 minutes on each side and then bake for another 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C. Top the burgers in the following order: patty, ketchup, mustard, pickled gherkin, onion, lettuce, cheese, and tomato.
