Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 30 king prawns with tail fin (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Pepper
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- pepper
- Salt

Peel the garlic cloves, deseed and wash the peppers. Finely chop the garlic and peppers and sauté in the olive oil. Pour the oil through a sieve into a bowl and season with the lemon juice, pepper and salt. Clean and wash the king prawns and pat them dry. (I always use frozen). Put 3 prawns on each wooden skewer and place in a shallow baking dish. Spread the oil and lemon marinade over the skewers and chill for at least 2 hours. I turn the skewers after an hour so the prawns are marinated all over. Grill the skewers for about 3 minutes on each side. You can of course also cook them in a pan. Serve with lime or lemon slices, if desired.
