Spring onion rice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 g butter
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • ½ onion(s), finely diced
  • 100 g basmati rice
  • 250 ml water
  • n. B. Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 2 spring onions, cut into rings

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the butter in a saucepan and sauté the garlic and onion. Add the rice and 250 ml of water. Season with salt, bring to a boil, and cook in a covered pan for about 15-18 minutes, then season with salt and pepper. Stir the spring onion rings into the cooked rice and serve.
