Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 60 sheets of spring roll dough (Asia Shop)
  • 500 g pork mince
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 m.-large carrot(s)
  • 1 small green bell pepper(s)
  • 2 cucumber(s) , from the jar
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 slice(s) cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 small onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

(Lumpiang Shanghai)

Finely chop all ingredients. Then, mix the two eggs with the ground beef and the chopped ingredients thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper and let stand for about an hour. After an hour, open the spring roll wrappers, spread the mixture (ingredients) on the wrappers, and roll them up. Seal with egg yolk. Then deep-fry. P.S.: The spring roll wrappers are not cut into small pieces, of course. Spring roll wrappers are available at Asian stores.
