- 2 kohlrabi
- 3 carrots
- 250 g soy sprouts, fresh
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 bottle of soy sauce
- 1 package of spring roll dough sheets, from the Asian store
- Oil for frying
- salt and pepper
- chili
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Cut the carrots and kohlrabi into thin strips. Dice the onions and garlic and sauté in oil until translucent. Then add the minced meat to the pot, fry, and season with salt, pepper, and chili to taste. Once the minced meat is fried, add the carrot strips, kohlrabi strips, and bean sprouts to the pot, mix everything together, pour in half of the soy sauce, put the lid on the pan, and sauté everything. Add more soy sauce occasionally, stir, and continue sautéing until the vegetables are soft. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper if desired. When the vegetables are soft, separate the pastry sheets, spoon the minced mixture onto one corner of the pastry sheets, and roll them up. Heat a little oil in the pan and fry the rolls in the oil, place them on kitchen paper to drain so they are not too greasy, and serve. It’s great for parties or when you have visitors. Can easily be eaten as finger food and so far everyone who has tried the rolls has been more than thrilled.
