Spring sausage salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g meat sausage
  • 100 g sliced ​​cheese
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 1 small head of iceberg lettuce
  • 4 spring onions
  • 4 gherkins
  • 4 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly water if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Slice the sausage and then cut it into thin strips with the cheese. Clean the radishes and spring onions and slice them thinly along with the pickles. Wash the iceberg lettuce and tear it into bite-sized pieces. Combine all the prepared ingredients in a bowl. Mix together the vinegar, oil, and mustard and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the salad and toss well. Stir in a little more water if desired. Serve with fresh farmhouse bread.
