Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 ball of mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella)
  • 1 beefsteak tomato(s)
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • salt and pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil (cold squeezed)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Tomato – buffalo mozzarella – salad

Cut the buffalo mozzarella into thin slices. Wash, trim, and slice the tomatoes. Clean the basil, pluck the leaves, and cut them into thin strips (chiffonade). Arrange the tomatoes and mozzarella on a platter, season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and garnish with the basil. Serve immediately.
