Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • Fat, for the shape
  • 8 apples (Boskoop)
  • some sugar
  • 40 g raisins
  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 4 egg whites
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 60 g almonds, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Traditional apple pie from the Altes Land

Prepare the dough, roll it out, and place it on the bottom of a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter). Press the edges up slightly. Slice the peeled apples and scatter them on top of the dough along with the sugar and raisins. Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the icing. Mix the sour cream with the stiffly beaten egg whites, then stir in the previously mixed cinnamon sugar and almonds. After the half hour mentioned above, pour the mixture onto the cake and bake for another 15 minutes.
