Steak Bun
The perfect steak bun recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Pork steak lean (ma)
- 50 g Butter
- 250 g Flour
- 0,5 Yeast
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 400 ml Milk
Important! Using marinated steaks was unfortunately not included in the selection of ingredients.
- Heat 1,300 ml milk and stir in the yeast. Then mix with the remaining dry ingredients (except steak and butter) and place in the oven at 50 ° C.
- Fry the marinated steaks (I used Mexico style) in the butter for 5 minutes on each side and remove from the stock. Deglaze this with 50 ml milk and add to the dough. Knead this again and put it back in the oven.
- Cut the steaks into strips and remove the coarse fat. Sear the steak strips and proceed with the stock again as in step 2.
- Let the dough rise for another 10 minutes. Put flour on a plate and place a handful of batter on top of each. Now you press the strips of meat into the dough and close it like a bag.
- Do the same with the rest of the dough, you should have about 5 rolls.
- Bake the rolls per side at 175 ° C fan oven for 15 minutes per side. Then brush with butter and bake to the desired brown using the grill function.
- Enjoy your meal
