Steamed pak choy with mushrooms à la Didi

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g chanterelles
  • 300 g pak choi
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, Thai style
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 tsp Chinese spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean the chanterelles, trim off a small portion of the stem, and cut a cross into the cap for decoration. Clean the pak choi and trim off a small portion of the stem, leaving the leaves intact. Halve the pak choi lengthwise. Mix the soy sauce, vegetable stock, and Chinese seasoning in the sunflower oil. Halve the chili pepper lengthwise and add it with the seeds. Mix everything well, place in a pan, and heat. Place the pak choi halves flat-side down in the pan, add the chanterelles. Cover and sauté for 5 minutes. Turn the pak choi over and sauté for another 3 minutes. It should still be crunchy. Plate up and serve.
