Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g potatoes
- ½ ring/s of meat sausage
- 6 slice(s) bacon, thin
- 1 small onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- Water
- Flour or sauce thickener for light sauces
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into eighths. Finely chop the onion. Fry the bacon in a pan (don’t add any extra fat or oil to the pan; the bacon will release enough fat), then sauté the onion. Add the potatoes and enough water to cover the potatoes halfway. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for a good 20 minutes. After the regular cooking time, place the sausage on top of the potatoes and simmer for another 5-10 minutes, until the sausage is hot. If the sauce is too thin for your taste, you can thicken it slightly with flour or a sauce thickener for light sauces. A quick, delicious meal that even my little boy likes!
