Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 sachet of dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 100 ml milk
  • 150 g raisins
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 ml milk
  • 275 g butter
  • ½ bag of lemon peel
  • ½ tsp cardamom
  • 50 g almonds, ground
  • 1 bottle of bitter almond flavor
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • 50 g candied lemon peel
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • e.g. melted butter for spreading
  • n. B. Powdered sugar for sprinkling
  • n. B. Sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Combine the flour and yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 100 ml of milk in a bowl and mix. Melt 200 g of butter. Add 200 g of sugar, 100 ml of milk, cardamom, salt, and lemon zest to the melted butter. Add the butter-milk mixture to the flour-yeast mixture. Now add the candied orange peel, candied lemon peel, almonds, raisins, and bitter almond flavoring and knead well. Pour the batter into cake pop molds and bake at 150 °C (convection oven) for about 10 minutes. Baking time may vary. Brush the hot cookies with butter and sprinkle with sugar and powdered sugar through a sieve.
