Strawberry Asparagus

The perfect strawberry asparagus recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Asparagus
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 250 g Pureed strawberries
  • 1 big pinch Cinnamon
  • 10 piece Strawberries
  • 2 sharpen Peppermint for garnish
  1. Peel the asparagus and cook in water with salt (1 teaspoon), sugar (1 teaspoon) and butter (1 tbsp) until al dente for 6 – 8 minutes and remove. (Tip: Wooden grill tongs are ideal for removing them!) Clean, wash and puree the strawberries (250 g) and season with a big pinch of cinnamon. Clean and wash the 10 strawberries. Serve asparagus with strawberry puree and strawberries (5 pieces each) garnished with peppermint.
