Strawberry cake on a tray

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 2 packs of cake glaze
  • Butter and breadcrumbs for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Doesn’t get soggy and can be prepared 1 day in advance.

Mix the baking powder with the flour, then stir in the eggs, oil, and sugar. Grease a baking sheet with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs (or use baking paper). Spread the batter on the baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Let cool. Arrange the hulled strawberries on top, prepare the glaze according to the package instructions, and pour it over the strawberries. Tips: You can add custard to the strawberries and sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top. You can also use half and half. If you want to be extra safe, you can also sprinkle a packet of whipped cream stabilizer over the base; this way, nothing will soak through.
