Strawberry-elderflower liqueur

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g strawberries
  • 650 ml water
  • 12 cl elderflower syrup
  • 20 cl vodka, alternatively grain alcohol
  • 8 cl strawberry syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, wash and hull the strawberries, then quarter them. Place the strawberries in a pot, fill with water, and boil for 10 minutes. After boiling, let them cool slightly, then puree. Strain the strawberries through a cheesecloth to remove the seeds. Then, add the elderflower syrup and vodka to the strawberry juice. At this point, the liqueur can be flavored with strawberry syrup, as the strawberries may lack flavor depending on the season. Shelf life: 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
