sweet and sour

Wash the limes in hot water and dry them. Grate the zest and squeeze out the juice. Bring the water, sugar, and lime zest to a boil in a saucepan and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the syrup from the heat, let it cool, and then strain it into a bowl. Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice two strawberries and set aside. Puree the remaining strawberries with the lime juice. Pour the puree through a sieve into the syrup and stir well. Fill the lemonade into glasses with plenty of ice cubes. Garnish the glasses with the strawberry slices and mint. If you like, you can top up the drink with more water, according to taste.
