Strawberry muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 220 g margarine
  • 75 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, nB
  • some strawberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

for 12 pieces

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Sift the flour into a bowl and whisk together the margarine, sugar, and eggs. Add the baking powder, milk, vanilla, and cocoa powder, if desired, and whisk to combine. Add the strawberries. If canned or frozen, drain them first. You can also use 2-3 tablespoons of their juice; it makes the batter much fruitier. Mix everything thoroughly again and then pour the batter into paper baking cups and/or a muffin tin. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Makes 12.
