Ingredients for 7 servings:
- 40 g sugar
- some vanilla pulp or vanilla extract
- 600 ml whipped cream
- 60 ml strawberry syrup

without egg, with strawberry syrup
Whip the cream with the sugar and vanilla until stiff. Fold in the strawberry syrup. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours. You can also freeze it in small serving bowls; they won’t take as long and can serve up to twice the amount (about 14 servings instead of 7). Once chilled, turn out the batter, remove the plastic wrap, cut it, and place it on a plate, or turn the bowls out onto plates. Blueberries or blueberry compote, or strawberries or strawberry-rhubarb compote, go perfectly with it.
