Strawberry Rice Pudding
The perfect strawberry rice pudding recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 100 g Sugar
- 200 g Rice pudding
- 1 liter Milk
- 500 g Fresh strawberries
- 1 Lemon
- 4 Chocolate kisses
- Halve the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Put both with 70 g sugar, rice and milk in a large saucepan, bring to the boil. Let the rice swell over the lowest heat for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Let the rice cool down. Remove the vanilla pod.
- Wash, clean and quarter the strawberries. Squeeze the lemon, mix the strawberries with the juice and the remaining sugar (30 g) and put in the fridge.
- Remove the waffles from the chocolate kisses. Fold the chocolate mixture into the rice. Layer the milk rice and strawberries in 4 glasses. Serve garnished with waffles.
