Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 5 eggs, hard-boiled
- 5 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp horseradish
- 3 dashes Tabasco, red
- Salt and pepper, coarse
- some sweet paprika powder
- Salad (lettuce)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Nostalgia from the 60s.
Hard-boil the eggs and let them cool. Peel the cold eggs and halve them lengthwise. Carefully remove the hard yolk and mix it with the remaining ingredients in a bowl until creamy. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle and carefully fill the egg whites with the yolk. Finally, sprinkle some sweet paprika over the mixture. Arrange a few lettuce leaves on a large plate and then arrange the 10 egg halves on top.
