Stuffed eggs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 tbsp herb cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp, strained mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp, leveled ketchup
  • Herbs to taste
  • Salmon, smoked and caviar or according to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for the party buffet

Hard-boil the eggs, peel them, and halve them. Carefully remove the yolks, mash them finely with a fork, and mix with the remaining ingredients until smooth. Then transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and fill the egg whites with it; this is the prettiest way to make it. Alternatively, you can use a freezer bag by cutting off a corner. Garnish with smoked salmon, caviar, or other ingredients to taste. I prefer Philadelphia herb cream cheese, Heinz ketchup, and herbs like parsley or chives, or both.
