Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g mushrooms, large
- 300 g minced meat, mixed
- 200 g grated cheese (Gouda or similar)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs (Weckmehl)
- ¼ liter broth, instant
- ½ cup of crème fraîche herbs
- salt and pepper
- possibly Fondor
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Clean the mushrooms, remove the stems, and hollow them out slightly. Place them in a sufficiently large ovenproof dish. Chop the removed mushroom flesh and stems and set aside. Season the hollowed-out mushrooms with Fondor or pepper and salt. Mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onion and garlic, breadcrumbs, and the chopped mushroom trimmings. Season well with pepper and salt. Stuff the mushrooms, placing the leftovers around the mushrooms. Mix the broth with the crème fraîche (if you’re not watching the calories, feel free to add a little more crème fraîche) and pour into the dish. Sprinkle the mushrooms with cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 25 minutes. We like to serve this with baguette, but it’s also delicious with rice. This recipe serves four big eaters.
