Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 zucchini
- 250 g minced meat, mixed
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 4 slices of cheese (Edam)
- 1 bread roll, soaked
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 m.-sized eggs
- 1 onion(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
for the barbecue evening
Add the egg, pepper, salt, 1 chopped onion, and the softened bread roll to the minced meat and mix well. Trim the ends of the zucchini, but not too much. Then cut them in half lengthwise and peel out the core. Peel 1 onion and slice it with the washed tomato. Prepare aluminum foil for wrapping. Choose pieces of foil large enough so that the tops of the zucchini can be properly sealed. Now fill the zucchini with the minced meat, arrange the tomatoes and onion slices on top, and sprinkle the cheese on top. Wrap everything in the prepared aluminum foil. Place it on the hot grill for about 20-25 minutes (you can also do it in the oven, of course). Tip: For the oven, you can also slice the zucchini and place it in a baking dish with the minced meat, onions, and tomatoes, mixing well. Sprinkle with the cheese and place everything in the preheated oven at 200°C until the cheese is golden brown.
