Sunday Pastries: Nussies

The perfect sunday pastries: nussies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 tsp Ground chia seeds
  • 150 g Spelled flour 630
  • 100 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 130 g Raw cane sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 0,5 tsp Gingerbread spice (optional)
  • 280 ml Cold coffee (alternatively plant-based milk, etc.)
  • 100 ml Oil
  1. This recipe is super easy and quick to make.
  2. First preheat the oven. Top / bottom heat 180 °
  3. Now measure / weigh the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Mix in the coffee well with the stirrers.
  5. At the end, mix in the oil well and briefly whip on the highest level.
  6. Divide the dough into 12 muffin cases and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  7. I had the nussies in there for 20 minutes and they were juicy soft and still moist. We found them so delicious, similar to brownies.
  8. Let the nussies cool down and carefully remove them from the molds.
  9. Enjoy with a cup of coffee / espresso!
