Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ head of white cabbage
- 2 large onions
- 3 large red bell peppers
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tsp, leveled caraway powder
- salt and pepper
- Clarified butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Quarter half a head of white cabbage and slice it; don’t shred it, as it can be a bit coarser. Halve the onions and slice them. Quarter the peppers and cut them into strips. First, fry the cabbage in clarified butter in a large frying pan or wok over high heat for about 5 minutes, turning often, then gradually add the onions and peppers. Season well. Turn off the heat and let it stand for about 5 minutes. Tastes good with meatballs and/or potatoes, among other things. Or as a vegetarian main course (then sprinkle with grated cheese if desired).
