Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1,500 g chicken or chicken thighs
- 1 ½ liters of water
- some salt
- 2 bunch soup vegetables
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Bring the water with all ingredients to a boil, add the prepared chicken (or drumsticks). Cover and simmer gently until tender. Cooking time: 1.5–3 hours, depending on the quality. Use: For chicken fricassee, noodle or rice soup with chicken, chicken in curry sauce, chicken salad, chicken risotto, chicken rice, or simply as hot chicken soup with rice (use half a boil-in-the-bag per person).
