Sushi

The perfect sushi recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Sushi rice
  • 1 pack Nori sheets
  • 1 pack Sushi pickled ginger
  • 1 pack Tamanoi (vinegar powder)
  • 1 pack Surimi
  • 100 g Smoked salmon
  • 1 pack Smoked tofu
  • 100 g Cooked shrimp
  • 1 piece Red peppers
  • 1 piece Cucumber fresh
  • 1 bottle Wasabi cream
  • Salmon cream (from my KB)
  • Soy fish sauce
  1. Rinse sushi rice with cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions. After the cooking time, pour the rice into a large bowl and stir in 2 teaspoons of Tamanoi (vinegar powder). stir the rice until it has cooled down.
  2. Now place the bamboo mat on the work surface, place a nori sheet on it with the smooth side down and spread rice on top and bottom, leaving a piece free to roll. Then spread the wasabi paste on the rice with the ingredients such as salmon, paprika, surimi, tofu, cucumber, salmon cream or prawns and roll up tightly. Brush the upper edge with water then it sticks together nicely.
  3. Remove the roll from the mat and cut into 6 to 7 parts with a very sharp knife, immerse the knife in hot water after each cut, then it glides better through the roll.
  4. Then serve with soy sauce, wasabi paste and pickled ginger,
