Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg apples, Boskoop-
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 100 ml Calvados
  • 400 ml water
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with Calvados

Peel and roughly dice the apples. Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil with the lid on. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Finally, use a potato masher or hand blender to achieve the desired consistency, depending on your taste.
