Spread the love

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

healthy quick breakfast

Heat the almond milk in a saucepan over low heat, then warm the oats and let them swell. Add the cinnamon. Wash the apple, peel it if necessary, and cut it into bite-sized pieces or grate it into a fine puree (depending on your taste). Once the oats have a creamy, slimy consistency, add the apple pieces and applesauce. Then serve in a bowl and garnish with other fruit, if desired. It’s also great to prepare the night before and store in the refrigerator. Depending on your preference, serve it cold or warm it briefly in the microwave. Personal experience: You can mix the flakes according to your taste. I used barley flakes, but it also works well with other flakes. I omitted the applesauce because I simply grated two apples. However, depending on the type of apple, it will be less sweet. If you are allergic to apples, you can also use banana or other fruit instead. Almond milk can also be substituted for soy milk or regular milk. The preparation is always the same. Approx. 304 kcal, 8 g protein, 57 g carbohydrates, 6 g fat per serving.
