Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg swede(s)
  • ¾ liter of water
  • 500 g pork ribs
  • 750 g potatoes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the meat and water to a boil and simmer gently for about 1 hour. Peel the turnips and potatoes and cut into small pieces. Add everything to the meat and simmer for about 70-90 minutes, until the liquid has largely evaporated. When everything is cooked, remove the meat from the pot and mash the turnips and potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Return the meat to the pot and serve.
