Sweet and sour pickled chilies

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chili pepper(s), mixed
  • 2 tbsp beet syrup
  • 750 ml vinegar
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 carnations
  • 2 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 0.33 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Slice the onions and garlic into strips. Mix all ingredients except the chilies together. Slice the chilies into rings, add them, and bring to a boil. Divide the mixture into prepared jars and seal while still hot.
