Sweet and sour zucchini

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg zucchini
  • 6 onions
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 350 g sugar
  • 6 leaves of celery – green
  • ¾ liter vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • ¼ liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the zucchini and cut into fairly small pieces. Slice the onion into half rings and place it in a saucepan. Add the remaining ingredients, finally adding the vinegar and water, and bring everything to a boil briefly to prevent the zucchini from becoming too soft. Then pour the mixture into jars while still hot and seal immediately.
