Sweet apple rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 m.-sized apples, e.g. Elstar
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 egg yolk, for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

without margarine or butter

Peel the apples and cut them into fingernail-sized pieces. Combine the flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and milk. Stir in the apple pieces. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using two tablespoons, spread 20 small heaping spoons onto the sheet (divide them between two sheets if necessary) and lightly brush the heaping spoons with egg yolk. The egg yolk is only important for the look, not for the taste, so it can be omitted. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 15 minutes. The rolls are eaten “just as they are,” without any additional spread.
