Sweet casserole for toddlers

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g pumpkin flesh
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 1 apple, sweet variety: e.g. Cameo or Golden Delicious
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp semolina (soft wheat)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 some vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the pumpkin and dice it into small pieces, according to the size the child can already chew. Place the diced pumpkin in a saucepan. Add butter and a little water. Simmer until the pumpkin is tender. Meanwhile, peel and dice the banana and apple. Whisk an egg in a bowl. Add the pumpkin, fruit, a little vanilla sugar, and a full spoonful of semolina to this bowl. Mix everything well and let stand, covered, for about 5-7 minutes while the oven heats up so that the semolina softens slightly. Grease a small baking or casserole dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour the mixture into the dish and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. You can offer this sweet casserole to your little ones with milk, tea, or even yogurt. Tip: If you don’t have a pumpkin, you can also use 200g of jarred pumpkin puree. But then add 2-3 tablespoons of semolina, as the puree is more runny.
