Dessert with dates, raisins, pomegranate and almonds

Place the raisins in a bowl, scald with hot water, and let them swell. Meanwhile, cut the dates into eighths, halve the pomegranate, and remove the red seeds. Roast the almonds in a dry pan until light brown. Prepare the couscous according to the package instructions, adding a pinch of salt and stirring in the butter. Drain the raisins, let them drain, and mix well with the couscous along with the pomegranate seeds, dates, flaked almonds, cinnamon powder, honey, and orange blossom water. Layer on a platter, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and powdered sugar, and serve warm. It also makes a great main course.
