Sweet Potato and Spelled Buttermilk Rolls

Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Orange sweet potatoes
  • 500 g Spelt flour type 630
  • 200 ml Warm buttermilk
  • 50 ml Water
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Peel, dice, cook and mash or grate the sweet potato.
  • Then put 200g flour in a bowl, add the yeast, buttermilk and sugar and knead. Put the rest of the flour on top and cover. Let rise for 30 minutes!
  • Then add the remaining flour, sweet potatoes, salt and oil and knead well! Cover the dough for another 45 minutes!

Set the oven to 250 ° degrees top / bottom heat!

  • Flour the dough and portion 10 balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and flour!
  • Cut into rolls or press in a roll stamp! Let go again! Put some water around the rolls and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes!
