Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled (preferably from the day before), grated
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g flour
- 150 g butter or margarine
- 1 pack of almonds (flakes or sticks)
- some butter, in flakes
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix into a dough (using a food processor or hand mixer). Spread onto a baking sheet and make small indentations in the dough with your fingers. Add butter flakes and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Scatter almond flakes or slivers over the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) on the middle rack for about 45-60 minutes (depending on your oven). Do the toothpick test. My grandma’s recipe. No crust, keeps fresh for a long time, and tastes amazing.
