Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g sweet potato(s), peeled
- 150 g potatoes, peeled
- e.g. vegetable broth
- 15 g butter
- e.g. cream
- Salt and pepper, white
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Dice the sweet potato and the potato, but smaller cubes. Place it in a saucepan with the vegetable stock, cover, bring to a boil, and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain the vegetable stock and return the pot with the potatoes to the stovetop. Let it evaporate briefly. Add the butter and mash everything with a potato masher. Stir in enough cream until the mash reaches the desired consistency, season to taste, and serve. Delicious with sauerkraut and bratwurst.
