Sweet Potato Soup with Caramelized Green Sparge

The perfect sweet potato soup with caramelized green sparge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g White sweet potato
  • 200 g Potatoes
  • 2 Carrots
  • 750 ml Vegetable broth
  • 150 g Green asparagus
  • 1 Tl Peanut butter
  • 2 Tl African blend of spices
  • 2 Tl Date balm
  • Sesame
  • Oil
  1. Peel and dice the carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes.
  2. Cook in vegetable stock until soft.
  3. Puree with peanut butter and African seasoning mixture.
  4. Cut the asparagus into small pieces, fry in a little oil for 3 minutes. Add the date balm and caramelize for another 3 minutes.
  5. Serve with soup and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
