Sweet quark parcels with rich filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 3 tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 large dates
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 2 tbsp psyllium husks
  • 1 tbsp hazelnut brittle
  • some lemon flavor or lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp chocolate, chopped
  • 1 banana(s), optional
  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 3 tbsp milk or egg yolk

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Nutritious snacks

Chop or puree the dates. Combine the quark, brown sugar, honey, raisins, coconut flakes, milk, psyllium husks, and hazelnut brittle in a bowl. Stir in lemon flavoring or lemon juice and a mashed banana (if using). Cut the puff pastry into squares and place 1 tablespoon of the quark filling in the center of each square. Fold the four corners toward the center and place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Brush with egg yolk or milk before baking, if desired.
