Mix the softened butter and grated cheese well with a hand mixer, then slowly knead in the cream, salt, and nutmeg. Mix the baking powder with the flour, sift, and fold into the dough until well blended. Quickly knead the dough on a lightly floured surface. Then chill for about 30 minutes. Once chilled, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 0.5 cm and cut out shapes as desired. Place the cut-out dough pieces on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with egg yolk and decorate with seeds and nuts, if desired. Bake everything in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
