salad dressing

Mix together salt, pepper, vinegar, and sugar. Finely chop the onion and add it to the mixture. Store in a jam jar in the refrigerator for about 48 hours. After 2 days, bring the water and potato starch to a boil and let it cool for about an hour. Blend the onion mixture with the oil, egg, and starch mixture in a blender on high for 30 to 60 seconds. This yields about 800 ml of sauce. It tastes especially good with a green salad. Store the rest in the refrigerator and use within 4 to 5 days.
