T-bone steak in coconut-sage oil

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 steak(s) (T-bone), approx. 800 g +
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 bunch of sage leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 80 degrees Celsius (180 degrees Fahrenheit) with a shallow dish inside. Heat the coconut oil in a heavy-based pan. Fry half of the sage leaves in it to infuse the oil with the flavor. Discard the leaves afterward. Sear the steak on both sides in the oil. Then place it in the dish and cover with the remaining leaves. Drizzle a little oil over it and let it rest in the oven for about 50 minutes.
