Terraces – Biscuits …

The perfect terraces – biscuits … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Flour
  • 60 g Ground almonds
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 0,5 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Orange peel aroma
  • 200 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 8 tablespoon Red currant jelly
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Mix the flour with the almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, flavor and butter. Add eggs and egg yolks. Knead everything into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
  2. Roll out the dough on a little flour. Use three round cutters of different sizes to cut out the same number of biscuits. Cut out the smallest biscuit in the middle again (I had my apple cutter for this), so that a ring is created.
  3. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 175 degrees for about 10 minutes. Bake the rings a little shorter. Let the cookies cool down.
  4. Heat the jelly. Put on top of the biscuits and put together in terraces. Dust with powdered sugar.
