The Doctor Listed the Foods That Prolong Youth

Vitamin B2 plays a key role in maintaining the condition of the skin and hair – it works wonders and prevents aging.

We start paying attention to products for youthful skin and hair, as a rule, when we already see the dire consequences. It’s no secret: what we eat directly affects the state of our bodies. At the same time, riboflavin plays a key role in maintaining healthy skin and hair.

According to gastroenterologist Olena Tulpina, with age, the human body loses or stops absorbing the necessary components – health problems make themselves felt, and appearance begins to fade.

She noted that vitamin B2 plays a key role in preserving the condition of the skin and hair – it prevents aging by turning back time. “All biochemical processes in our body involve B vitamins, including vitamin B2, or riboflavin. The main role of vitamin B2 is to activate other B vitamins: B6, B9 (folic acid), and vitamin B12, without it they will not work,” noted Tulpina.

According to her, vitamin B2 deficiency often develops due to severe physical exertion, anemia, and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract or thyroid gland. However, it is possible to determine whether a person needs vitamin B2 only through analysis.

The doctor also drew attention to the fact that vitamin B2 is found in both plant and animal products: milk and dairy products, eggs, liver, and kidneys, as well as mushrooms and nuts, are rich in it. These beauty products are available to everyone, so they should be in the diet every day.

Tulpina also said that pine nuts contain the most vitamin B2. At the same time, she emphasized that riboflavin is destroyed very quickly in the light, which makes it difficult to obtain it from ordinary foods.

The gastroenterologist advised that in case of vitamin B2 deficiency diagnosed by doctors, one should not rely only on foods that prolong youth but take mono-preparations.
