Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s), diced
- ½ tube(s) tomato paste
- some flour
- some butter
- Salt
- e.g. chili powder
- Pepper, white
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
has been with us for 3 generations
Sauté the onion in melted butter until translucent. Add a little flour and sauté briefly. Add tomato paste, then slowly add enough water until the desired consistency is reached. Add seasonings to taste. Since this sauce is quite simple, we serve it with fried sausage cubes on the side. It also goes very well with boiled pasta.
