Tofu in lemon sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pkt. Tofu, (plain)
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup(s) rice
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the tofu into roughly 2 cm cubes. Rub with cayenne pepper and salt (season well!). Brown in a pan with butter, then keep warm in a casserole dish at around 100°C. Meanwhile, add the rice. Sauté the chopped onion in the remaining fat from the pan until translucent. Add the crème fraîche and squeeze in the juice of about half a lemon (to taste). Season with a little cayenne pepper and reduce until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve the tofu with rice and sauce. Enjoy!
